An American entrepreneur, advisor, board member and angel investor, with 24 years of business experience in Romania. I love living and working in Cluj-Napoca. Enjoy possessing a strong knowledge about my adopted homeland; its history and its business environment.
Over these last 2 decades, I have created or managed companies in various domains, including: cybersecurity, A.I.-Visual Analytics, telemedicine, software & hardware development, consulting, training and development & adventure camps. In addition, I’m deeply involved in the growth of the nascent Romanian startup ecosystem, together with my partners and colleagues through various NGO’s across the country we are teaching entrepreneurship, facilitating company creation, market validation and fundraising from idea stage, then pre-seed & seed stages, up to Series A levels.
In 2018, I co-founded T.A.N., an NGO angel investment network, whose 120+ members have invested over 4 million euro in 40+ Romanian startups. Since 2023 we have further evolved into a business community of smart & nice people, who are collaborating through cross pollination, in a variety of business initiatives.
